Within the framework of a long-term International Youth Studies (InYouS) project, initiated by the Federation of Youth Clubs of Armenia (FYCA) and supported by the Erasmus + program, Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, hosted HTML (How to Make Lessons) for Youth Workers training course on 22-29 July, 2018.
The aim of the project was to enhance the skills of youth workers, while working with young people at local, national and international levels, and to increase the quality of youth work. Participants worked to create new methods and materials for youth work and non-formal education.
From Northern University the senior specialist of Foreign Relations office Nelly Avagyan and Head of Economics Chair professor Armen Tshuguryan were also participating in the program. Professor Tshuguryan has conducted two interactive sessions for participants.
During the course, team work was also highlighted, through which the participants developed communication, negotiation, analytic and a range of other skills.
One of the important parts of the program was an intercultural evening held by more than ten countries, during which national dances, cuisines and interesting facts about each country were presented.
The participants also visited two youth centers in Georgia and got acquainted with their activities.
The third part of the program is currently going in Czech Republic, where participants are trying to apply the knowledge gained during the previous two phases.
