"The Easter Feast has never been so interesting, cognitive and colorful at our university." Rector's assistant Raya Janinyan expressed the opinion of everyone in her speech as the admiration of the participants was really great. Honorary guest Gegham the Deacon congratulated the attendees, noting that the phrase" Christ is Risen from the dead” had opened a new page in the history of humanity, proving the victory of life over death.
Students of the faculties of law, pedagogy and economics presented the Feast in an interesting manner: within the three competitive stages they told about Easter, presented the meaning of each of the Easter meals, spoke about the peculiarities of celebrating holidays in different countries.
Each faculty decorated its table with traditional meals, and the jury members tasting the dishes in the final stage of the competition found it difficult to assess students' work. However, the first prize was awarded to the Faculty of Law, the second to the Faculty of Economics and Management and the third prize went to Pedagogy and Armenian Philology.
Is necessary to mention that this event was the first serious initiative of the newly elected Student Council. The newly elected President of the Student Council, Ani Alexanyan, the chairmen of the faculty councils did their best to prove that they were truly worthy of such confidence.
It is vital to state the names of the coordinator of northern.am website Arpine Alexanyan and the head of the Department of Career and Practice of the Graduates Kristine Gevorgyan, as they supported the students with their advice and organizational skills to have such an amazing celebration.
