Planning, Organization, and Supervision of the Educational Process at North University
The Educational Department oversees the planning, organization, and supervision of the academic processes for both undergraduate and master’s programs, offered in both full-time and part-time formats.
Structure and Governance
The Educational Department reports directly to the Rector and to the Vice-Rector in charge of academic processes.
The department includes:
- Faculties of the university (Law, Economics, Management and Informatics, Philology, and Pedagogy),
- The Center for Continuing Education,
- The Library,
- The Graduate and Internship Coordinator.
Objectives of the Department
The main goals of the Educational Department are to:
- Ensure the smooth operation of the University’s academic processes,
- Improve the efficiency of academic activities,
- Provide direct management of its structural subdivisions and coordinate the activities of other structural units involved in the educational process,
- Plan, organize, and monitor the academic processes of undergraduate and master’s programs,
- Control the quality of the educational process,
- Oversee the educational and training activities of the University’s faculties and departments.
Functions of the Department
The department’s functions include:
- Organizing and supervising the development and implementation of working curricula for full-time and part-time undergraduate and master’s programs,
- Coordinating and supervising the preparation of course schedules for each semester by the faculty deans,
- Organizing and supervising the practical training of students at the university,
- Coordinating academic processes with the deans and departments,
- Organizing and implementing comprehensive measures to improve the quality and effectiveness of teaching.
