Northern University Practice, Career, and Continuing Education Center
The Practice, Career, and Continuing Education Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) is an independent structural subdivision of Northern University (hereinafter referred to as the University).
The activities of the Center are organized and coordinated by the Head of the Practice, Career and Continuing Education Center.
Functions of the Center
Organization of various exhibitions and events (in particular, job fairs, career days, etc.), meetings with employers, organizational presentations, company visits and excursions, exchange visits, and other related activities.
Identification and analysis of strategic and organizational issues related to the employment of Northern University students; development of relevant programs and submission to the Rectorate of Northern University, as well as participation in their implementation.
Organization of seminars, round tables, conferences, academic forums, targeted and continuing education and retraining courses; advisory and other events on current labor market demands, job search technologies and skills, professional orientation, and related issues; cooperation with organizations implementing relevant courses and programs.
Provision of information to beneficiaries about various announcements and competitions; creation and maintenance of relevant literature databases (including an electronic library); publication of informational materials.
Organization of relevant databases, electronic groups, and online platforms through the application of modern information technologies.
Establishment of cooperation with public and private sector organizations dealing with employment issues, as well as with various foundations, international donor organizations, NGOs, and other institutions.
