Master

Admission to the Master’s degree programs (full-time and part-time) at Northern University is carried out in accordance with the Procedure for Admission and Education in Master’s Programs of Higher Education Institutions ofthe Republic of Armenia, approved by the relevant order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia the Republic of Armenia, approved by the relevant order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia Northern University Regulations on Master’s Admission, for the following specializations:

Master’s Degree Programs (Full-Time / Part-Time) – 2025/2026 Academic Year25-26-մագիստրատուրա_նոր

Graduates holding a Bachelor’s degree or a Diploma of Certified Specialist from state higher education institutions of the Republic of Armenia, as well as from non-state higher education institutions accredited by specialization (institutionally accredited), are eligible to apply for admission to the Master’s program at Northern University.

Admission Procedure

Admission to the Master’s programs (full-time and part-time) is organized at Northern University.

  • Applicants with a relevant foundational professional education are admitted to the Master’s program in their field of specialization through an interview.
  • Applicants applying on the basis of a different specialization must take examinations in the subjects included in the final attestation of the Bachelor’s program of the chosen Master’s specialization, with the same scope and requirements.

Master’s admission is conducted annually from May to September.

Education in the Master’s program at the University is provided on a tuition-fee basis.



Tuition Discounts (First Year of Study)

  • 20% tuition discount for graduates of Northern University
  • 50% tuition discount for graduates with honors

Duration of Study

  • Full-time Master’s program – 1.5 years
  • Part-time Master’s program – 2 years

All graduates are awarded a state-recognized diploma.

The final attestation of Master’s students, which assesses their knowledge, competencies, and skills, is conducted through the defense of a Master’s thesis.

Required Documents for Admission to the Master’s Program

  • Application addressed to the Rector of the University (completed at the University);
  • Identity document (passport or ID card, military booklet, birth certificate, refugee certificate, Special Passport of the Republic of Armenia, residence permit – original). In the absence of a passport or birth certificate, a temporary identity document issued by the Police of the Republic of Armenia.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma of Certified Specialist;
  • Diploma supplement (transcript);
  • Four photographs (3×4 cm).
