New Horizons of International Academic Cooperation at Northern University

Northern University hosted Dr. Marek Smoluk, Professor at the Institute of Modern Languages of the University of Zielona Góra, Poland.
During his meeting with students and faculty members, the Professor—who brings decades of rich experience in international academia—presented a comprehensive overview of the vast opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ program. He particularly highlighted the vital importance of implementing inter-university research projects and fostering academic exchange to meet the challenges of the modern world.
Special attention was given to practical mechanisms supporting the mobility of students and university staff. These initiatives enable participants to study at leading European institutions, specifically at the University of Zielona Góra, gaining international experience, enriching their linguistic and professional skills, and broadening their global perspective and worldview.
Emphasizing the key role of Prof. Dr. Lusine Fljyan, Vice-Rector for Academic Research and Internationalization at Northern University, in launching this fruitful collaboration between the two institutions, Professor Smoluk expressed confidence that the practical and friendly ties between the universities will continue to flourish through new and dynamic endeavors.
We are also delighted to share that two students from Northern University are already packing their bags to spend the upcoming semester at the University of Zielona Góra.
