The mission of Northern University is to carry out educational and scientific activities that prioritize quality education by combining the best national traditions with advanced international practices. The bachelor’s program requires 240 ECTS credits over 4 years, while the master’s program requires 90 credits over 2 years. The postgraduate program lasts 3 years with 180 credits.

Student performance is assessed using a 100-point grading system, with both numerical and letter grades.

This system allows calculation of:

  • Semester and overall academic ranking
  • GPA (average qualitative score) at any stage of study
